Policemen scared suspect in Zimin`s murder off
Policemen almost detained Igor Velichev, who is suspected in murder of NTV special correspondent Ilya Zimin.
Police took the bearings of supposable murder`s location: he put personal sim-card in Zimin`s mobile phone. Several groups of law machinery officials arrived to near-Moscow village Gorky-2, where Velichev family moved from Moldovian town Kagul several years ago. Local citizens noted large number of policemen in town and warned Velichev. The latter escaped.
Body of NTV correspondent, author of TV program "Reporter Profession" Ilya Zimin was found in the flat on Sunday, February 26. There were traces of beating on journalist`s body. The journalist was seen alive in "Samolet" club last time. Last week police reported that Moldavian Igor Velichev is the only suspect in murder of Ilya Zimin.
